As journalists, we view the use of technologies in public management as a source of story ideas. We produce weekly case studies of innovations in cities, featuring stories of how one city has implemented a new program, policy or process, with a focus on what other cities can learn from it. How a city uses ‘smart’ technologies or data-driven decision-making to manage the work of government better are stories we want to tell.
