he City of Malaga will host during 1,5 days the second edition of the City Solutions Series starting on 1st October 2019! The event untitled "Trends in municipal innovation to achieve SDGs" will focus on concrete experiences implemented by the city of Malaga and other world cities, providing an in-depth analysis, identifying elements of success and failure about how cities are able to innovate in municipal management and finance.
Uraía members willing to present their experiences are very welcome to present key trends of how the inspiring practice has improved quality of life of citizens through SMART technologies.
The proposed themes for this edition of Malaga City Solutions are:
- Innovation in water provision, water saving and sanitation, including environmental impact of water management in the city
- Mobility and transportation, including energy savings from public transport, inter-connectivity of mass transport and service satisfaction from users.
- Sustainable energy generation and sustainable energy use, smart grids, etc.
- Waste management, including connections between waste disposal and energy generation.
