The theme of the event will be “Big data in cities” and will focus on the use of data for better city management and urban services to produce a positive impact on people’s lives.
The activity will mobilise some 100 international participants for exchange, debate and promotion of inspiring experiences on the use of big data in urban management, especially applied to municipal finance and better-guided decision making.
The conclusions of the workshop will then be incorporated into the "Brussels Recommendations» the annual technical publication of Uraía which is distributed to over 5,000 local development actors around the world.
More information on the exact dates and venue will be communicated in the near future.
